There are some big changes coming to Weel

Switching to Weel Visa Business Debit Cards is going to unlock an array of new benefits for all Weel customers, including a lower FX rate as well as broader merchant acceptance of all Weel cards. Why is Weel switching to Visa Business Debit cards?

Switching to Visa Business Debit cards will offer our customers a much broader merchant acceptance, including with merchants such as Google, Uber and Facebook.

Can I switch now?

To ensure a smooth and swift transition over to Visa debit, we are moving customers across in groups. You will be notified of the date your account will be moved across via email and push notification. Unfortunately this date can not be changed.

Why is my BSB and Account Number changing?

To unlock the benefits of Visa Business Debit as well as our new, low FX rate, we are changing to a new payment provider, Nium. This new provider will also allow us to bring you more of the features you’ve been asking for, even faster.

What happens if I don't update my cards?

If you don't update your cards to your newly issued Visa debit cards after we've migrated your account, you won't be able to make payments with Weel.

Do I need to do anything to update my cards?

Yes. When your account is switched over to the new platform, you will need to ensure that any previous Weel Mastercards have been removed from your mobile wallet. Once removed, you will need to add your newly issued Visa Business Debit Card to your wallet. Similarly, anywhere that you have stored online card or subscription card details will need to be updated. Please follow our guides for more information on how to do this.

Can I access my new card numbers before our account moves?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this migration, we can not share card details ahead of time for security reasons.
