AI Receipt Validation

What’s new?

‍We’ve introduced AI-powered receipt validation that automatically detects uploaded receipts accurately match the details of the card transaction. Weel's AI automatically verifies merchant, amount, currency, GST, and invoice legibility, flags any issues for review, and auto-fills GST on validated invoices.

This is available to all customers on our Premium and Enterprise plans.

‍Key benefits

• Fewer manual reviews: All receipt issues are clearly flagged to you up-front, saving you needing to review each transaction in-depth.
• Spot fraud as it happens: Too often fraud and misuse goes unrecognised for too long. Now, you can identify this as it happens and take action before it gets out of control.

How it works

• Turn it on in Settings → Expense Management → Tax Invoice Validation.
• When viewing the transaction table, detected issues will be clearly flagged to the card holder and Admins. The table can be filtered by invalid receipts.
• Admins can quickly override decisions, helping refine the AI with each correction.
